Release #6

And time for another release! This time it's chapters 68 and 69! I'm thrilled about this because it means I have accomplished my goal, I can now read all the current releases without having to skip chapters!~ I think the next thing I'm going to do is re-read from chapter 1 to 76. And now that this has been taken care of, hopefully the remaining groups will quickly catch Special A up to the Japanese releases! Any how, enjoy the chapters and thanks for all the support so far!

SA v12 c68 (mediafire) | Mirror 1 (savefile)

SA v12 c69 (mediafire) | Mirror 1 (savefile)

Files uploaded to Mangafox and Mangatraders already.

I still plan to release chapters 51 and 64; they've been sitting mostly done for a while now. But once those are done, it looks like I'll be taking a break from scanlation again, so Special A Scans will be on hiatus. As I mentioned in a previous post, I just accepted a new job and will be moving within the next 3-5 weeks and starting my new job at the beginning of the year. Between the relocating and the new job I'm going to be very busy. At least until I get adjusted to it all, I won't be able to work on anything. So instead of picking up a new series and then disappearing I decided to take a break until I'm sure I can still work on it.

That brings me to what I wanted to bring up next! Thanks for all the suggestions of what to work on next! I ended up having over 40 series to look at. I found a few new things to read and ended up with a list of around 12 different series I am considering to be my new project when the chance presents itself!

Oh right and if I *do* have some free time before the move and job, its always possible I'll release a chapter or two of something just because!

Okay, so I read that you were looking for a new project? Well, I happen to love the series 'Five', but it seems to have... well... died. xD It's kind of like Special A... they're the 'elite' and such, and well, yeah, I like it. You should check it out. ^^

Vampire Knight is also looking lonely too....

70-76 have been released by IGC. I saw 70 and 71 on mangafox (some where in the middle of the list, every thing else was in order except those two). As well as 72-74 (but those were in the correct order). I didn't see 75 or 76 any where else I normally get manga.

I assume IGC has them all for download some where but I don't register/post on forums so I don't know their release rules/time lines.

Hello,
I would like to ask you if maybe you could translate/edit the manga
KAZE HIKARU. Its already scanleated up to volume 6 but the manga goes till 22 and on.
Its not the ordinary thing.
Here is a summary :
Kaze Hikaru is set in the bakumatsu In the year 1863, a time fraught with violent social upheaval, samurai warriors of all walks of life flock to Kyoto in the hope of joining the Mibu-Roshi a band of warriors united around their undying loyalty to the Shogunate system. In time, this group would eventually become one of the greatest (and most famous) movements in Japanese history...the Shinsengumi!
Into this fierce milieu steps Kamiya Seizaburo, a young, would-be warrior who, though lacking in combat experience, possesses a fiery enthusiasm to both aid the Mibu-Roshi in their mission and to avenge his wrongfully murdered family. One of the Mibu-Roshi's most gifted (and immature) swordsmen, the legendary Okita Soji, agrees to take Seizaburo under his wing. But what no one suspects, least of all Soji, is that Seizaburo is actually a girl named Tominaga Sei in disguise!
Genres are : Action, comedy, gender bender, historical, romance.

Its really a great manga. if you read a few chapters you will be into it in no time. Please give it a try !
There are people at manga fox forums, who have the raws but need help in translating and editing.
It would be great if you could help.

Have a good day and Thank you very much in advance !

I will never thank you enough for filling in the many gaps this manga had. Your scanlations are great. Thanks to you, I got to love S.A even more than before ! :)
I hope you will do fine with your new job and hopefully you will be back in some time with new projects. We will wait for you. :)
I also wanted to suggest some projects, maybe you will be interested in some of them ;) :
* Mei-chan no shitsuji (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=2941) : I'm beginning to think we won't see the end or at least the middle of this manga within the next ten years T__T It's a shame because even if the story is more subtle than it seems and the art is really good.
* Kimi ni todoke (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=3058) is also a really good series being a bit neglected. The story is not very original but cute nonetheless and the drawings are excellent.
* Koibana, koiseyo hanabi (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=12076)
* SPY (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=5341) and Biyaku cafe (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=20971)
*Muteki Kareshi ; it's a new manga
I know it's a lot of suggestions but I just wanted to give you some ideas:)
